Tuesday 9/22/2026 - adopt proposed budget during regular commission meeting
Tuesday 10/20/2026 - public hearing
Monday 11/2/2026 - meeting to adopt the 2027 budget
All meetings begin at 6:30pm, are open to the public and will be held at 545 Linig Road.
BUILDING COMMITTEE
The Board of Fire Commissioners has formed an advisory committee tasked with exploring the long-term needs of the District's headquarter station at 1 Long Pond Road. The committee is assessing the feasibility of remodeling the current fire station, rebuilding at 1 Long Pond Rd or building a replacement station an an alternate site.

The Lake Shore Fire District is a combination fire district made up of both volunteer and career firefighters. We respond to fires, rescues, motor vehicle accidents and EMS services. We have been serving the residents of the northern part of the Town of Greece along the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario since 1957.

Firefighters are a special breed of people. Our community is protected by dedicated and committed firefighters who do a great job when called upon, regardless of the time of day, to save lives and property which is done willingly and often without recognition.
