2026 PROPOSED BUDGET
The proposed budget for 2026 was approved by the Board of Fire Commissioners on September 23, 2025. A public hearing to review the proposed budget will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, 7:00 pm at 545 Ling Road, Rochester, NY 14612.

The Lake Shore Fire District is a combination fire district made up of both volunteer and career firefighters. We respond to fires, rescues, motor vehicle accidents and EMS services. We have been serving the residents of the northern part of the Town of Greece along the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario since 1957.

Firefighters are a special breed of people. Our community is protected by dedicated and committed firefighters who do a great job when called upon, regardless of the time of day, to save lives and property which is done willingly and often without recognition.
