Wall Of Honor



The Wall of Honor Cabinet, located in the Lake Shore Fire District Head Quarters is a place to honor those firefighters that have gone above and beyond their normal fire service duties and have made major contributions to the Lake Shore Fire District. This new Wall of Honor is a place to capture the memories of those that have made significant contributions through the years to the Lake Shore Fire District.





Charles Carroll

We are proud to honor Charlie Carroll for his more than 50 years of dedicated service to the Lake Shore Fire District who served as the first Fire District Fire Chief between 1957 and 1964 as well as a total of 22 years as a 
Fire District Commissioner. Charlie was a visionary leader who set the examples that we were always proud to follow. Charlie carried a strong desire to help others and to protect our community.






Robert Brindley 

We are proud to honor Robert Brindley for his more than 50 years of dedicated service to the Lake Shore Fire District. In appreciation for his extraordinary service and devotion as Fire Chief of the Lakeview Fire Department in 1967 and 1968. Throughout his years of devoted service with the Lake Shore Fire District Bob performed above and beyond the call of duty which included being the caretaker of Lake Shore Station #2






James Strauss 

We are proud to honor James Strauss for his more than 60 years of dedicated service for your generous commitment of time, support and inspiration. Jim served many years as Department Treasurer and Chaplin. Jim is one of the most beloved members of the Lake Shore Fire District and is always there for those who need him whether providing guidance to officers, advise to fellow members or a smile and kind words for someone in need.
